I started at the bridge over the Colorado river at 6:45 AM. Route 68 Benz left after the bridge along the river, a little bit north, and then begins to climb for the day. 

Partway up, Arizona Route 68 welcomes visitors with a spectacular view of ……….Middle Finger Mountain.

I’m not sure just what message is intended.

The walk totaled 10.1 miles. 

Tonight  super-helpful volunteer Peg Clement leaves from the Las Vegas airport and new volunteer Jim Richards arrives. Peg will drive the support tow-car to the airport, exchange the keys with Jim, who will drive it back to meet me at the support RV in Laughlin NV, on the West Bank of the Colorado River.
