Walking To Fix Our Democracy is a national effort to engage, activate, and support people to fix our democracy, and walk and advocate in their own communities to do so. It's sparked by Rick Hubbard who, joined and supported by others, began walking in Los Angeles on October 1st, 2022.  After many months, including breaks related to caring for his 31 year life partner Sally when cancer began to overwhelm her, he plans to finish in early January of 2025 with an event on the steps of our Capitol in Washington D.C.

Many of us think that fixing our democracy is the most important issue of our time.

Extensive expense is associated with jumpstarting both this walk and related walks to fix our democracy, in order to show our elected representatives how much Americans care. Wrapping the RV to message our walk, the website, signs, banners, flags and a host of other related costs all mount fast, and this is an all volunteer effort.

It would be wonderful if these expenses can be shared among all of us across America who believe it's a high priority to take whatever actions we can to show how important to us this issue is. Any donation amount will help.
