At 5:15 AM today, I began walking at 5:15am from Newbury Spring to a point on Route 66 near Hector: Cold - deserted road - very few vehicles.

Because I am without a volunteer driver until this coming Sunday night, I prepositioned tow car last night. I don’t like leaving the car on a deserted road unattended at night. Makes me wonder, what if I walk 10 miles on a mostly deserted road and the car had be vandalized.

I’ll try to restrict that as much as possible. Todays walk totaled 11 miles.

Raised a couple of blisters for me to treat tonight.
