Today, another early start. Another day where I began walking on almost deserted RT 66 in the desert and walked a total of 11 miles.

Partway through the walk, I arrived in Ludlow CA where beginning tonight I’ll base walking from for the next couple of days. Ludlow described - Population: 10.

Route 66 is closed from Ludlow east. So from here on it’s allowed and legal to walk the interstate, and part of my walk to I-40 in the direction of Needles, CA, some 92 miles east. More exposure for the RV and for WTFOD walking on I-40.

Beginning tonight, I’ll base walking from Ludlow for the next two days.
