4 miles to reach State Route 95, then left another 6 miles north toward Palm Gardens NV.

After a couple of miles I spotted something interesting, a Tarantula crossing the road just in front of me.

Subsequently I also spotted something else of interest. Ever seen a desert cucumber? It’s  very pretty, though not edible and supposedly very bitter.

Other than these two items of interest, the walk was quite routine.

All told, another 10 miles.
